Privacy Policy — The Bench

This policy covers The Bench, a cocktail measurement application published by Crafted Proof LLC, in both its Android app and web (browser) versions.

Information we collect

None. The Bench does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or usage data. The app contains no analytics libraries, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporters, and no third-party code that phones home. It makes no network requests of its own after it is installed.

Information stored on your device

When you save a drink, a batch, or a setting, the app writes it to local storage on your own device. That data never leaves your device, and we have no access to it. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app deletes it permanently.

Permissions

The Android app requests no special permissions — no location, no contacts, no camera, no microphone.

The web version

If you use The Bench in a browser at our website, your browser downloads the app files from our web host and caches them so the app works offline. Like any website, the web host may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and operations. The app itself sends nothing beyond those ordinary page requests, and we run no analytics on them.

Children

The Bench is a reference tool that concerns alcoholic beverages. It is intended for people of legal drinking age and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy — which would surprise us as much as you — we will update this page and change the effective date above.
